At SAFE Institute, we are in search of a Training Facilitator who specializes in leading sessions addressing sexual harassment, workplace abuse, and the creation of trauma-informed workplace environments. This role involves conducting virtual training sessions and in-person trainings primarily centered in Austin, TX, with occasional national travel.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate a safe and trauma-informed learning environment.

  • Lead virtual training sessions focusing on the sensitive topics of sexual harassment and workplace abuse.

  • Ensure content is culturally sensitive and accessible.

  • Tailor training to suit the needs of diverse groups and various workplace settings.

  • Willing to travel to conduct in-person training sessions when necessary.

Virtual Tech Specialist (Contract Work)

Job Overview:

Are you a tech-savvy professional ready to enhance virtual training experiences? We're seeking a specialist to manage the technical aspects of online training sessions. In this role, you'll coordinate breakout rooms, ensure seamless screen sharing, and provide valuable technical support to the Training Facilitator.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Training Facilitators to provide a great online training experience.

  • Set up and oversee breakout rooms for interactive activities.

  • Ensure smooth multimedia presentations and screen sharing.

  • Proactively troubleshoot technical issues during training.

 

Attributes that can make a candidate successful in this role:

  • Proficiency in various online meeting platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills.

  • The ability to coordinate, facilitate interactive online activities, and be self-sufficient.

  • Flexibility to accommodate different time zones and national partners' needs.

  • Provide technical coordination and support 30 minutes before and during scheduled virtual sessions.

  • Assist facilitators in managing administrative aspects and support various roles during the session.

  • Manage interactive tools, answer learner questions, troubleshoot issues, and provide technology support during the session.
